The CRO Cockpit

The truth about your pipeline every week, before you hire a CRO.

For growing companies with no CRO, or a forecast nobody checks. We score every deal on what your CRM shows, set it next to what was called, and put the gap on one page you can act on.

  • No new software
  • No contract to start
  • Free Shakedown: your file never leaves your browser

Who it is for

Built for the leader who has to stand behind the forecast.

  • You run a growing company and the forecast is whatever the team says it is.
  • You have a VP of Sales, but nobody checks their number against the data.
  • You need the forecast to hold up in front of your board, your bank or a buyer.

The common thread is a number that has to hold up, not your industry.

What lands every week

One page. Every deal. No new login.

  • Deal health on every open deal: a green, amber or red flag, with every deduction shown
  • The Delta: what each rep called against what their data supports
  • Coverage and projected finish against your target
  • Week over week movement: which deals improved, slipped or stalled, and which close dates keep moving
  • Forecast accuracy: how close each rep's calls came to what actually closed, tracked over time
  • Rep scorecard: whose forecast needs the most questions this week
  • Race Replay, monthly: what your won and lost deals have in common, and what to change

How it starts

Three steps, and the first one is free.

Step 1 · The Shakedown

Check your own pipeline

Free, on your own export, in about two minutes. Your file never leaves your browser. Want it checked deal by deal first? Start with a Forecast Audit, credited toward setup.

Step 2 · Pre-Season Testing

Setup, one time

We set up your weekly export, map your fields and tune the scoring to your sales cycle.

Step 3 · Lights out

Your first weekly readout

The week we receive your first export. Then every week after that.

Packages

Three ways to run it, scoped to your team size.

Cockpit Readout

Telemetry

The weekly one page readout with week over week movement and forecast accuracy by rep, a monthly Race Replay of your won and lost deals, and a quarterly look at which lead sources actually win.

Quoted on a scoping call

Cockpit plus Coaching

Pit Wall

Everything in the Readout, plus written coaching each week on the three deals that decide the quarter: the biggest gap, the likely root cause and the moves to make. Plus a 30 minute review with you every month.

Cockpit plus Jeremy

Race Pace

Everything in Pit Wall, plus Jeremy on your weekly pipeline call, questioning deals with your team on facts, not opinions about the rep.

Need someone in the seat? Fractional CRO (Team Principal): Jeremy runs the revenue seat part time, on a schedule set by what your team and your number need, with the Cockpit as his instrument panel. Scope and investment are quoted on a call.

Choose a six month or an annual term. The package, setup (Pre-Season Testing) and term are quoted together on a short scoping call, in writing, before anything starts.

Other services: Forecast Audit, 90 day revenue plan and Profit Snapshot

Other services

When you need one piece, not a weekly rhythm.

  • Forecast Audit, one time: every deal checked with your sales leader, a rebuilt number and written forecast rules. Credited toward Cockpit setup. See the Forecast Audit
  • 90 day revenue plan (Season Strategy), one time: a written plan for the next quarter. Or included with six months of Race Pace, so Jeremy runs the plan with you.
  • Profit Snapshot, free: 45 minutes on your last full year of financials and the three largest profit opportunities on one page. See the Profit Snapshot

Who reads it with you

Jeremy Elmore has run the revenue seat, not just advised it.

Weekly

Every open deal scored and set against the call, before your pipeline meeting.

Outside

Independent of the team being measured, so the read stays honest.

20+

Years running sales and revenue teams inside software and data companies.

What it is not

Not another tool your team has to feed.

  • Not a new CRM or app to adopt. It works from the CRM you already have.
  • Not call recording or surveillance. Nobody on your team is listened to.
  • Not a guarantee. It is the evidence you need to ask better questions, sooner.

The alternatives

Why not software, a one time project or a new hire?

Forecasting softwareYour team, if someone owns itAn annual contract plus a person to run it. Often nobody reads it.

Hiring a VP of SalesThe person being measuredA full salary and months of ramp, and the call still goes unchecked.

Not a fit

We will tell you if we are not the answer.

  • Revenue under $2M. There is not enough forecast yet to check.
  • Fewer than three sellers. You need a conversation, not a weekly readout.
  • You want a dashboard, not an opinion. Buy the software; we tell you what the numbers mean.

Not sure how to pull a CRM export? That is not a reason to pass. We walk whoever runs your CRM through it in one short call.

Questions leaders ask

Before you book.

Which CRMs does it work with?

HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, or a spreadsheet. If it can export your deals, it works.

Why pay for the Cockpit if the free check exists?

The free Shakedown scores one file on one day. The Cockpit remembers every week, so you see which deals slipped, which close dates keep moving and how accurate each rep's calls have been over time. We also set up the export, read it with you and follow up on the questions, so the work gets done and not just reported.

Does my data leave my company?

The free Shakedown never leaves your browser. For the weekly Cockpit, your CRM sends us one scheduled export a week, held under NDA and used only to build your readout.

What if we hire a full time sales leader?

They inherit the Cockpit on day one, with a full history of every deal and rep, and Jeremy coaches them through their first 90 days. You can keep Jeremy on the weekly call after that, because a second set of eyes on the forecast stays useful.

We already have a VP of Sales. Is this a threat to them?

It is their best ally. A good sales leader wants the evidence in front of them before the CEO asks for it.

Why not Clari or Gong?

They are strong tools for large teams with someone to run them. Most growing companies buy software like that and then nobody reads it. We hand you the answer and a person who acts on it, not another login.

We already run Clari or Gong. Do we still need this?

Keep it. Those tools are run by the team being measured. We read what they show every week and tell the CEO and CFO what the tool is not saying, the way an auditor checks the books.

Six months or annual?

Both work. Six months is the shortest term, because forecast accuracy takes a few cycles to show. An annual term renews yearly and halves the setup fee. We lay out both in writing before you choose, and you can step up a package at any time.

Next step

Would you be opposed to 15 minutes on what your pipeline is really saying?

Bring your Shakedown readout if you have one. If you do not, we will look at it together.

If the numbers don't support working together, I'll tell you on the call.
